Hi, everyone. We're continuing with the Reverse Alzheimer's Summit, and I'm thrilled to have Dr. Mohammed Elamir here. We're going to talk about hyperbaric oxygen and the exciting results they've had. Of course, just a few years ago, the idea of a quote, Reverse Alzheimer's Summit would have been laughed at. I'm sure that there are still some mainstream doctors who are laughing at the concept. But published data again is showing improvements in patients, including a very exciting paper on hyperbaric that we're going to hear about today. There is now a paper coming up that shows over ten years of sustained improvement. We're breaking new ground. I think this is an exciting time for all of us to be seeing people with cognitive decline have some hope and some real improvements. Dr. Elamir, welcome. It's great to have you here.

Dr. Mohammed Elamir is an Aviv Clinics physician with over ten years of experience in Internal Medicine. Prior to joining Aviv, he spent five years practicing Internal Medicine at the MM Jersey City Breathing Center while owning his medical spa in New Jersey. He graduated from Rutgers University and attended St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at RWJ-Barnabas: Jersey City Medical Center Program where he was Chief Resident. He is a Fellow of The American College of Physicians, The American Board of Internal Medicine, and The American Board of Aesthetic Medicine.

Mohammed Elamir, MD, FACP

Dr. Bredesen earned his MD from Duke University Medical Center and served as Chief Resident in Neurology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) before joining Nobel laureate Stanley Prusiner’s laboratory at UCSF as an NIH Postdoctoral Fellow. He held faculty positions at UCSF, UCLA and the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Bredesen also directed the Program on Aging at the Burnham Institute before joining the Buck Institute in 1998 as founding President and CEO.
